| Step 1 - Open the image |
| Open the image to use for the tiling. If you need to crop or resize the image, do this before going to the next step. |

| Step 2 - Open the Seamless Tiling dialog |
| Choose Effects > Image Effects > Seamless Tiling. The Seamless Tiling dialog appears. |

| Step 3 - Display tiling preview window |
| At the top of the dialog, the original image appears on the left, and a preview of the resulting image appears on the right. But it's usually helpful to mark the Show tiling preview checkbox to see a separate tiling preview window. |

| Step 4 - Make dialog settings |
| Based on the image you're tiling, you'll want to experiment with the Tiling Method options, the Direction options, and the Settings values to create the desired effect. Note that the Corner Style options only apply to the Corner tiling method. |

| Step 5 - Click OK |
| When you're satisfied with the look of your tiled image, click OK. |
